Flogs

Flogs are fake blogs, and here's why they exist:

• Search engines base most of their rankings on link relationships
• Blogs make it easy to build content and links
• To get better search engine rankings, people make blogs just to add links to their sites

As more and more publishers join in on blug publishing, it will be more difficult to distinguish between real and fake blogs. Sometimes they are setup by bad bots.
