MSIE 6 Begone! (Blogger FTP too...)

What do you think of MSIE6?

I got an email from Google recently saying that they are phasing out support for Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 (MSIE6) for Google Apps.

This is "one more nail in the coffin" for a browser that has reportedly caused many-a-headache for web interface designers.

Just look at these types of websites:

Shucks, I use Blogger's FTP service

Google also emailed me to say that they are removing the ability to publish blogs to remote sites via FTP. I love that feature! Apparently, not many other people do. Unfortunately, there aren't too many web hosted alternatives. One possibility is "sitecopy". Its quick good, I use it for a couple of sites, but its command-line based.
