Google's Affiliate Marketing Program is still a huge hassle to login to, so I've decided not and bother to try reviewing and agreeing to their upgraded terms. They just sent me another reminder, but I've tried before and wasted time. Oh well.
Amazon's affiliate program continues to work well though so I'm sticking with it.
I used to like Commission Junction, but when they raised their minimum payout from $25 to $50, I got discouraged and haven't used it much since then.
Similarly, I used to like Linkshare, especially for finance related websites like Informed Banking, but ever since the economy went into recession, I haven't used it much.
While affiliate marketing is a good way for some bloggers to generate revenue from their efforts, I've distanced myself from several of the players simply because its a hassle to work with them.
Eventually, if my blogs get enough traffic, I plan to setup some procedures to sell ad space directly to advertisers.
