Occasionally I peruse the website listings at the Sitepoint Marketplace. Today I went to do so, only to find that they were gone!
Turns out the folks at Sitepoint decided to start a new company / website dedicated to the marketplace for buying and selling websites (i.e. website brokerage): flippa.com.
I took a few minutes to peruse flippa.com and I have to say I kind of liked the Sitepoint Marketplace for sites better, but that may be due to my familiarity with the Sitepoint look and feel. By the way, the sitepoint marketplace is still there, it just doesn't have any website listings.
I see this as a very interesting market (I'm dumbfounded by some of the sales prices for what I would consider low quality websites), so even though I haven't acclimated to the Flippa.com look and feel yet, I'm sure I'll be back again soon!
