News reports like the one I just read about Facebook suing StudiVZ lead me to think that they are failing to innovate. Facebook claims that StudiVZ is infringing on their copyright - but what copyright are they referring to? In the US, a software interface cannot be claimed as copyright, and I'd be surprised if StudiVZ actually copied digital assets or code from Facebook.
