bbPress is a forum software program developed by the same folks who created Wordpress. I was first drawn to it because I like Wordpress so much, and the idea of single sign on to both apps sounded nice. As it turns out, single sign ons aren't really too big of a deal, and I just ran into a problem with the way I've setup the forums and blogs. They both use the same user tables, and bbpress automatically updates the password with the latest checkout. This resulted in me not being able to login to my blog accounts. Not cool. I've considered switching to phunkybb forums, and I think this clinches it.
