Wordpress 2.1 versus Wordpress 2.3

I still run Wordpress 2.1. The distro I run it on, debian, has a newer version, and Wordpress.org has released 2.3 as stable. I'm still using 2.1 even though I like the idea of tags in addition to categories, however, I'm not too fond of the idea of more tables. Unfortunately, given the amount of blogs I'm publishing these days, I have lots of tables. I even have all the blogs sharing user, spam karma 2, and blogroll tables, but its still a lot of tables. In additional to the fact that I don't want any more tables, I don't have too many complaints about 2.1. I disabled the automatic download of news on the dashboard, as that ended up taking a huge amount of space in the database across all the blogs. But other than that, I like it!
